I found the Ventus S1 Noble to be an all-round good tire for the A4. I drive in a fairly spirited fashion on rural roads and find the lateral grip through the curves in dry weather to be excellent. I don't push it in the curves on wet roads, so I don't have much input there. However, I've run them extensively at 80mph (highway) in fairly heavy rain and found the hydroplaning resistance to be impressive. We had several snow storms in the Northeast last year and I was generally out the door at about 4AM without much plowing having been done. In 4 of snow, the traction was very good (blowing past large SUVs) and the overall stability was beyond what I was willing to test. I just purchased my second set and felt compelled to offer some praise.
