Initial Review, 10,000 Miles on Tires

So I really researched the heck out of what tire was right for my 4x4 tacoma. We live at 6000 ft and can get up to a foot of snow at a time in winter. We needed a fairly aggressive tire tread for winter. But I also was weary of tire noise and the mileage hit you get with some AT tires. This tire hit the sweet spot. I had to back up a fairly steep incline on my property with a moderately loaded trailer in snowy mud. Although this probably speaks as much to the capability of a 4x4 tacoma with the locking diff I know I couldn't have made it with the dueler h/t that came on the truck. This tire has very little road noise and has just aggressive enough tread to get it done while offroad. I would highly recommend this tire to someone in my situation where you frequently drive unimproved roads as well as highway. Also, get the load range E light truck tire because the ride is no worse and for a nominal increase in cost you get a bit more tread depth and load rating which is well worth the money. Kudos to Michelin on a well balanced light truck tire!
