Softer compound that wears faster then one would like in dry conditions, however when it is icy, snowing lightly or blizzard like, there is no other tire I want under my Quattros. Living at nearly 7,000 feet I often drive up to the ski areas above 9,000 feet to get first chair and my Quattro with Blizzacks always gets me there and back. I buy a new set of Blizzacks every other winter this is perhaps my 9th set. Always get good to fair prices from Tire Rack and Bridgestone even sent me a really nice wind stop jacket with my purchase last year.
