Initial Review, 30,000 Miles on Tires

Generally a good all-season performance tire. Excellent grip in wet/damp roads, and average+ in slush or light snow. Dry performance is pretty high also (7-8). Wear is not terrible (though watch carefully for uneven wear) and tire continues to perform similar to new as you get farther down the road. Tire tracks well under power. Road noise is pretty quiet with this tire. Tire consistently holds air fairly well and haven't any nails or screws penetrate this tire and I've definitely run over some small debris a time or three.
That said, "THE" problem I have with this tire at this is I had a crazy blowout on the right rear the other day when hitting a bump at about 15mph. Heard a whomping sound at the red light half a block down then I started to go, saw my TPMS and thought oh yeah here we go, flat city. Figured it had to be a nail right? Nope, after getting on the donut spare, found big gash on the inner tread, about a 4" cut (the size of one entire lug and a little more). Tire just completely failed while hitting a drainage dip around a corner and should not happen. Tire was less than 2 years old with maybe 20,000 miles and 75% of the tread left.
Replaced it with a Yokohama YK580 in the same size. Would recommend these going forward over the AVID ENV as far as Yokohamas. Look for longer life, better reliability, good performance and great fuel efficiency with that one.
