Initial Review, 1,000 Miles on Tires
August 10, 2010

This tire is amazing! I'm running a 275/70R18 on an 06 F150 with a skyjacker 3" lift. Turning my truck into a 4x4 off-road machine I expected their to be some annoying attributes such as noisy tires and odd handling/steering capabilities. But with these tires I feel so much better about going witht the upgrades! They are virtually noiseless, a slight hum but nothing obnoxious and overbearing. Truthfully it is only noticeable on complete decelleration and if your radio is turned down or off. These tires in this size have no rolling in the corners and handle great. I had run them at just 35 psi for the first 950mi and did great at highway speeds when I took a weekend vacation to San Antonio. They seem to be pretty soft so I am worried about how quickly they will wear, but I'll be happy if I can get at least 30K out of them. They track great and you dont get any road wandering. With my liftkit the suspension is stiffer but the tires help a lot when run with lower air, I recently upped them to 60psi for economy/wear/towing and their is a noticeable difference in the bumps along the county road I take to get to my house but that's to be expected. We get some pretty heavy rains over here in Texas and these tires are amazing when compared to my stock pirelli in the rain. Never lose traction and havent hydroplaned yet. These tires are also great in the mud, there are little teeth in the bottom of the tread facing both directions for going in forward and reverse, and their is enough space between the inner and outter tread to let the mud out. We dont get a lot of snow in South Texas to speak of, but I used to live in the Panhandle and go up their quite often especially for christmas so I may be able to test them up their, but as far as I can tell they would do great in the snow/ice. But I wont rate them for it till I try it. A great looking tire, very aggressive, great price, will reccomend to everyone!
